Shottenkirk Nissan of Katy is actively hiring Automotive Sales Associates who are confident, motivated, and comfortable using social media, video, and digital tools as part of the modern sales process.

We are looking for:

• Experienced automotive sales professionals

• Retail or prior sales experience

• Veterans transitioning into civilian careers

• Internet-savvy candidates who enjoy creating content and videos

• Newcomers with strong communication skills and coachability

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $3,000 per month base salary + commission

• NO PACs on new vehicles

• Low PACs on used vehicles

• Annual earning potential: $75,000 $150,000+

POSITION OVERVIEW

As the public face of the dealership, the Sales Associate is responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience while representing the Shottenkirk brand professionally both in-store and online.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting customers and responding to questions regarding products and services

• Maintaining strong product and process knowledge

• Managing customer concerns with empathy and professionalism

• Improving engagement through in-store and digital interaction

• Increasing showroom and online sales activity

• Cross-selling products and presenting promotions

• Maintaining the appearance of the sales floor, displays, and signage

• Operating dealership systems and completing required documentation

SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT CREATION (REQUIRED)

• Sales Associates must be comfortable creating video and social media content

• Content will be posted on personal social media accounts and company platforms

• You will be required to use your personal phone and company-provided tools

• ALL content created during training, class time, homework, or work hours is the sole property of:

  • Shottenkirk Nissan of Katy

  • National Automotive Training Academy (NATA, Inc.)

• Content ownership is non-negotiable and a condition of employment

REQUIRED TRAINING (MANDATORY NO EXCEPTIONS)

• 40 hours of required training

• Training dates: Monday, January 12th through Friday, January 16th

• Training hours: 9:00 AM 4:00 PM daily

• Graduation: Friday at 12:30 PM

• 100% attendance required

• Missing any training time may result in disqualification or rescinded offers

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)

• Prior sales or retail experience preferred

• Professional appearance and attitude

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Positive attitude and customer-first mindset

MANDATORY SCREENING READ CAREFULLY

• Background check REQUIRED must be clean

• Driver's license check REQUIRED must be clean

• Absolutely NO exceptions

• Do NOT apply if you have license issues, suspensions, or unresolved background concerns
