This role is ideal for a proactive talent professional who thrives on partnering with leaders, finding great candidates in creative ways, and delivering a seamless hiring experience from first contact through onboarding.
As a Recruiter at Thompson, you’ll work closely with department heads and hiring managers to shape recruitment strategies, source and assess top talent, and guide candidates through a thoughtful, compliant, and engaging hiring process. You’ll play a key role in strengthening our employer brand, maintaining accurate recruitment data, and ensuring every candidate interaction reflects Thompson’s values and commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
Partner with department heads and hiring managers to define job requirements and recruitment strategies.
Post job openings on appropriate platforms and manage job board presence.
Source candidates through resume databases, social media, job fairs, and professional networks.
Screen applicants for qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Coordinate and schedule interviews, gather feedback, and guide the selection process.
Manage communication with candidates throughout the process, ensuring a positive experience.
Extend job offers and coordinate onboarding handoffs with HR or hiring teams.
Maintain accurate records in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and generate recruitment reports.
Assist with employer branding initiatives, including promotional events and college recruiting.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
2+ years of recruiting experience in contract food service or hospitality.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
